I've been away so couldn't retest cable temperature until now. I charged for an hour and measured temperature with an infrared thermometer. The ambient temperature is 67F and cable temperature is ~87-90F which I think is fine but it is surprisingly warmer than the ITT 10AWG cable.

Expected and normal. In. Phoenix on the hottest day with a coiled cord and eh sun beating on it... that's where it will struggle at 25 feet or more.
