Would this also qualify for the additional Toyota loyalty discount? A friend of mine got one in LA with the discount.

Thanks.

A great deal for a great car! 32k out the door. Even a better deal in CA (2500 more back) or WA (no sales tax).

We had two cars before this (Camry and Sienna) that split our family mileage 50/50. Right now we are 70/30 (Rav4 EV and Sienna). If I had a bigger garage I'd get a second one.

Mike

Someone who's coming off a current lease would have a loyalty certificate mailed to them in their "snail mail". But, no loyalty to the average buyers - just those coming off an existing lease in a pre-August time frame now.

How do you come up with 32K out the door. 41K plus tax and license=45K
Less: 7500 Fed, 2500 CA (not in addition to) so it will be around 35K.

Am I correct? We dont have the 10K incentive. Just 7500 now.

I think he is calculating in his Federal Tax credit against a 2012 car/incentive.
It's really different for everyone, depending on their state and county of residence, and their individual incentives.

If someone's out of state, I can access their state's credits and incentives pretty quick but these things change depending on legislation. Best thing to do is to print what I have at time of sale and send you the link to it.

My deals here are very straightforward at $40,994 on blue or silver after the $7,500 LA Region rebate (add $360 for the pearl white) ... and for the very first time, that rebate's not tied to using TFS for the financing or lease. That said, the 0 apr is pretty enticing! :D We don't have giant doc fees or anything out of the ordinary... and my shippers for transport are superb, quick, and usually polite!

Look like Toyota follows Honda this time.
Toyota will use leasing as a way for them to meet the CARB rules.

They might just try to experience with different promo to see the results. If July sales number is also low.
They probaly will have unlimited mileage lease like Honda soon.

Wow... a $20.9K residual after a 3 year lease? Looks like Toyota thinks that nobody will want these 3 years from now. I hope that they are wrong.

I think it's about right. If you consider the $10,000 in tax credits and rebates in CA, the depreciation is less than $15,000 over 3 years.

I'm disappointed that they took away the $7,500 straight rebate and replaced it with $7,900 Subvention and $7,500 tax credit for lease only. I think the purchase/lease ratio is about to swing drastically toward leases now. It would be interesting to know the payment for 15,000 miles/year and unlimited mileage. With these terms, I would take a 15,000 mile/year lease and probably buy it out. Putting the residual on my home equity line, I could pay it off in 5 more years for only $385/mo. Of course, you never know what other vehicle you'd rather have might be available at that time.
