I am curious as to what the aux power screen on the dashboard is for?
I've been driving the car for a month, AC on, headlights on (no heater, I think mine's broken) and I've never seen the aux power screen read anything.
Maybe I've seen the "current" go up to 1/2 a few times.

Do people see anything different on theirs?

This is the screen I'm talking about:

Wait till it gets colder and you start to use the cabin heater ;-)

The Aux Power screen shows the average and current power being drawn from the dc-dc converter (~340V -> 12v power). Try turning the AC fan on high and the bright lights on with the car in ready; you should see a jump in the current power usage.

The A/C and heaters operate off of the high voltage directly from the traction battery.

Very seldom do I ever see this reading get close to 1kW in normal conditions.
