Toyota has announced that it sold 61 versions of the 2013 Toyota Rav4 EV last month - that leaves only 2,139 to go until they reach their target of 2200 Rav4 Electric vehicles.

Some news outlets are reporting that 61 Rav4 EVs is higher than when the the Nissan Leaf debuted (that sold 19 units) and even the Tesla Model S debut (that sold 10 units), although both of those electric vehicles had plenty of people lined up ready to by, and really just lacked the supply.

Toyota did it without supply and without any advertising whatsoever. If they just put a little bit of effort advertising this car it would sell like crazy. It is an amazing car.
