Hey Guys. Testin' the waters here with my 2013 Rav4 EV that is still eligible for the extended warranty before I plop it on Craiglist and other sites. My 3yr lease ends on August 8, 2016, so buyer should have up to that time to purchase an extended warranty if desired.

Heater core unit was replaced around January 2015. Other than that, everything else has been running okay on the Rav. Rarely used the extended charge function (~1 every 3 months). Serviced at Palo Alto Toyota with tire rotations done at America's Tire. CA carpool stickers already installed.

I tried to post this last night, but I think I might have screwed up, because I don't see it in the thread.

My lease on a 2013 Blizzard Pearl RAV4 EV is up mid-September. I'm trying to decide if I want turn it in, buy it, or sell it. The lease residual is just under $21,000, and there is a "disposition fee" of $350 if I turn it in. The car has just over 10,000 miles on it, and I've had no problems. It is in like-new condition without even a scratch (I'll keep my fingers crossed for the next couple of months).

Our 2014 RAV4-EV is for sale. We have taken meticulous care of it, never parking next to other cars, it does not have a single door ding on it. It is in almost new condition. Everything works perfectly, not a problem at all, I only took it to the Toyota dealer once for them to do a free checkup and install a couple of factory updates. Pretty much maintenance free other than rotating the tires. These are the original tires, and they have about 50% tread on one pair and about 30% tread on the other pair. FYI - there are currently 14 RAV4 EV's going to auction this week. Sold by Toyota Financial. Prices are averaging about $19K.

Expect to see them pop up at your local dealership soon - with added markup.

I'd also add that some folks are little crazy here with their pricing. As much as I like the car and almost bought one, there are a lot of options out there right now (new i3 and e_golf with longer range as well as X5 40e). I'm seeing some people ask $500 per month of the next X months which is crazy IMO. Keep in mind anyone buying used would absolutely need to buy an extended service contract for $1800.

There are great incentives on new BMW X5 40e's right now (up to $6500). Yeah, I know, 16 miles of range but it works for people that have a short commute and can charge at work and home and need a 4wd for other times. Monthly leases are as low as $529 (36/10).

~40K miles.
Some battery degradation, averaging around 85 miles on the GOM but that may be because I drive fast with it.
Never had any electrical problems and never needed to take it to the dealer for other than routine maintenance.
I put new tires on it in January so still lots of tread. I got a very minor front corner scrape fixed. The car looks very good right now as it was completely cleaned up for the dealer return.

I'm asking $700 to transfer the lease over to you (for my time) so you can purchase the residual. The lease is about $19,900.
Must be done quickly, the car is due back by Friday.
