I found myself behind a Rav EV Generation I vehicle today in Amador County.

Turns out the (new) owner was going the same place I was so we
took pictures

Very cool. Turns out he gets about 75 miles range on his vehicle which he got from reseller in Sacramento.
These still have the inductive paddle charger which is a pain. He'd already found out about Tony though so that's good.

He was picking up personalized plates for his: "NIMHROD".

If he doesn't know about evnut.com he needs to be informed. We drove a 2002 RAV4-EV for 123,000 miles before I traded it in for a 2012 RAV4-EV. I think the only thing the cars share are their names.

i passed along the reference...

ironically i found out about the Gen 2 car by seeing a Gen 1 car locally. It got me thinking: wow, a Rav4, thats almost an ideal car to turn into an EV so i went to the Toyota page and was confused.... when the car didnt look anything like what i'd seen on the street.

That's hilarious that you were going to the same place, N3ckf. What a coincidence. Also, that plate name is pretty funny.
