I bought it on Tuesday. It is awesome. Acceleration is great and drive is really smooth. Great room at the back and seats five people. What I do not like is that Toyota should so a better job of having infrastructure support at their dealerships and should allow 24/7 access. The stations should be conveniently located so that EV owners have no problem charging their vehicle. It should also support fast charger technology so that we can charge in 2 hours. I should also support 50 amperes charging capability. More to come as I continue to drive this wonderful car.

I feel your pain. Check out: http://www.myrav4ev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=31 and you will see that the need for a QC has been on the forum for a while. Luckily, there may be relief on hand. Check: http://www.myrav4ev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=849

Welcome to the forum.

Enjoy your new car! I've had mine for 9 months now (10K miles) and love it. Read around on the forum. I replaced the factory carpet/mats on mine with some rubber ones which worked out well for me, btw.

This car fits an interesting niche that no other electric vehicle currently hits (maybe the Tesla Model X will fit here when it appears at a much higher price).

Be sure to visit www.plugshare.com to find chargers to extend your range.

have fun with it!

Welcome to the forum and enjoy the ride.

tips I'd recommend:
1. See if the car is elegible for a Toyota Warranty. Read some of the threads on that... the cars are now getting a bit old so it may be hard to get one but it may help cover a future expensive bill.
2. Look for the threads on the recalls and make sure your car had them done.
3. look for the threads on replacing the 12V battery. If your car still has the original 12V battery you'll want replace it quick before it dies out (bad things can happen if you let it die)
