I herd a screeching sound from the RAV4 EV while on a small incline that had a road 'bump' on the way (The ones that are meant to slow cars down). I basically had to stop right after passing the road bump because of traffic and did not use the foot brake to hold the rav4 ev in place.
Basically what happened was that the rear wheels were resting against the road bump at first, but because The RAV4 EV was in D it moved forth slightly before going back due to the inclined road.
So it rocked back and forth and each time while going back I could hear a screeching sound.
What is causing that? It sounded a lot like the screeching from brakes but I was not pressing the brakes. What exactly was grinding? It was metallic for sure. Makes me wonder if this happens also when going forward in D under 7mph and you just shift to R with out using the brakes? Just slowing down because of the force from "R".
