Hello,
I took my ev to the Toyota dealership to look at the cabin heater and to turn off the reverse beep.

Both fixes were successful, but I'm noticing that now the range estimator (fuel gauge) is wrong by quite a bit.
It used to be VERY accurate. Now I'm seeing the actual mileage being quite a bit larger than the estimate.

for example if it says 60 miles left I can drive 7-8 miles and it will only go down to 55 miles left.

Is this known behavior? Will it "relearn" after some time?
The actual performance seems to be the same as before ~3.5Miles/kwh.

Or could this be a temperature effect? it's starting to get cold in the Seattle area, but not by that much.

Anybody has seen this before? or could this be something that went awry during the car service

It's called the guess-o-meter for a reason. In this case, the dealer probably disconnected the battery for a time and reset it's little electronic brain. It will slowly go back to the behavior you're used to.
