Took my kids to the Cal State Railroad Museum in Sac this morning (great museum by the way). The public parking garage has 5 ChargePoint stations and a regular old Chevy was parked in one of the spots. I plugged in and on my way out told the attendant. He said that gas engine cars can park in EV charging spots on weekends. I thought that was peculiar, what's the point of having charging stations if you can't use them? Anyone else encountered a policy like that anywhere else? If I had time I'd look further into this because I suspect that's BS, or local policy that runs against state rules. Let me know if I'm wrong.
