Customizable options & EV Software Update

I went to a dealer to try and get my "Customizable User Settings" changed. I wanted all doors to open when I grab the drivers side door handle. Unfortunately, It did not work. The weird thing is, when I try this on the Passenger door, and rear door, all of the doors will also unlock. Has anyone else had any luck with this?

The other thing, I mentioned to the dealer about an EV software update, but he had no idea what I meant, or how to check it. What can I say to them to check the version, and see if an update is available? Thanks.

The procedure in the manual that I showed in this thread works. You don't need the dealer to change the behavior of the SmartKey door handle sensors.

You obviously need to find a dealer (or service advisor) more familiar with the RAV4 EV to get your car's firmware updated.
