Fuel Efficient Parking

Thank you Chick-Fil-A for a the VIP parking. "Fuel Efficient" is a little vague though, hopefully they will change those to "Zero Emissions" in the future.

If I drive a large diesel pick-up truck, can I park there?

technically yes, but people will look at you with shame when you enter the restaurant...

THey have some at Whole Foods, there was a late 80s Mercedes 190E parking in two spots sideways....

They have VIP parking specifically for hybrids at the Fresh & Easy supermarkets around here. We "break the rules" and park there, figuring that we're more than in line with the fuel-efficient spirit of the signs - they were put up years ago before the Leaf and the current generation of BEVs came out. We did once have a staffer give our RAV4 EV the stinkeye like "I can't tell whether you're breaking the rules or not... OK *fine*."
