Low battery sequence

Low battery comes on at 17 miles (cruise set at 65)
Very low battery at 12 miles. Indicator stays on.
GOM switches to "LO" at 5 miles and speed dropped to 55 then 30.
Two more miles gets turtle mode :(
1/4 mile up modest hill to home and plugged in. :)

How much further could I go? I am thinking turtle came on a bit quickly.
 
Did you really go 5 miles, from 17 to 12; 7 miles from 12 to LO 5...or are those reported miles just GOM miles?
 
My experience was quite similar. My speeds were lower and of course the GOM is very dependent on hills and things but overall about the same. The LO indicator in place of miles-to-go comes on at 5 miles.
Once I found out just when it stops, and that was pretty close to the GOM prediction. :) Neutral allowed just enough coast to get to the curb.

Just confirm that you drove an additional 17 miles from LBW, and it's not what the GOM was showing.

Unlike the LEAF, the two battery warnings, LBW and VLB are indexed to two and one illuminated fuel bar segments respectively.
