Ever since the recent Entune app update on Android, Pandora skips to the next track any time I have to switch away. Turn off the car, the come back, new song. Take a call, new song. Switch to AM to check traffic, come back to a new song. It never did that before, and I'm finding it to be a bit of a bummer.

Entune wouldn't load on the car ever since the update. Keeps saying "Communication Error, try again later."

Today it finally downloaded the car app, and worked ONCE. Since then it keeps telling me I need to have the program up and running on my phone in order to work. BUT, it IS up and running. ARGHHHH!

I've had that VERY intermittently (every couple of months) forever. More often (once a month) I'll have it just fail to actually play music. It will sit showing the track, but no sound. Sometimes force stopping Entune and restarting it will work. The only thing that's 100% reliable for me is to shut down the car, restart the phone, start Entune, then start the car again. I'm on a Nexus 5 running Android 5.1. In your shoes, I'd do that plus uninstalling Entune and reinstalling. I might even consider deleting the pairing on the phone and in the car and redoing it.

I've been having this problem too since I updated the Apps in the car. Using Android 5.0.1 on a Nexus 5. I just cleared the data for the Entune App and will see if that helps.

Did you also notice that the sound is now also controlled by your phones volume, so if you the volume is turned down on the phone, you can't hear anything. As from before, it was a normalized volume and only controlled by the car's volume control.

Yes, the sound is now controlled by my phone's volume controls - when the system works!

I always had volume controlable via my phone.
I normally listen to radio/streaming around volume setting around 30 on the radio.
In order to set volume of Pandora to same level as radio, I always had to put BT volume of my phone to max. Which gives warning over 70% anyway. That hasn't changed since update for me.
