Has anyone here put in an aftermarket head unit? I want to put one in that supports carplay. I also got my rav4 EV on its way to salt lake city! Excited to join the group!
 
There are some core EV functions implemented in the head unit that cannot be accessed in any other way. So, it would not be advisable to rip it out. The best approach would be a toggle to transfer the touch screen (touch and monitor functions) to another unit that provides the additional functionality you require. Not an easy task.
