'05 Toyota 4Runner, over 200k miles and going strong. The new 4Runner and the rest of the 4x4 dirt-worthy SUV's of the world are a little more fancy, but get the same mileage :roll: So, it's cheaper to keep the 4Runner in top condition. Last year we overhauled the top end of the engine. This year, total suspension replacement and tires. We religiously follow the maintenance schedule at the stealership. I tried a less expensive independent shop, but, the dealership performs better work by far.
We've spent thousand, and thousands, on ICE maintenance over the years on this truck.
Our first EV, Nissan LEAF, goes back to Nissan at the end of the week; 24 month lease is up. I've loved the car, and I will always own an EV (pure EV, not plug-in hybrid) for the rest of my days. Love them!
