To be perfectly honest, the odds of having a bad battery for any Tesla powered product is exceedingly tiny.
Those batteries, of course, will degrade as all batteries. We have found that 10 to 15% of degradation is possible at 50,000 miles, with 15 to 20% likely at 100,000 miles.

I did the test on one of my rav4ev's today.
I disconnected the 12 volt battery after an extended charge around 1pm and reconnected it around 6pm, so 5 hours disconnected.

Ambient temp was 72-65F
Range came back with 139 miles initally and after 10 seconds jumped down to 137 miles

Image
137/146 = 93.8%
139/146 = 95.2%
Conclusion: battery after 33670 miles is between 93.8-95.2% of the original new capacity
5-6% capacity loss

I'm about 85% @ 80,000 miles over 4 years.

I am at 132/146 @ 70k miles. 9% degradation. If you can do the test go for it but I wouldn't be too concerned these batteries are holding up much better than my old 2011 Leaf that dropped 30% capacity in less than 40k miles. Car wouldn't start. Got check EV system light seven times over two week period. Replaced 12v battery didn't fix issue. Pack was replaced due to low voltage in a pack.

EDIT

Finally did Tony test on replacement pack done at 71k miles. Have almost 50k miles since and am running at 144/146 or 1.4% degradation. Happy I didn't get a refurbished pack with more than 10% lost. Car at 120k miles now.
