I just got some new tires for my Rav 4 and the milage dropped from around 95-98 to around 88. It was a pretty immediate drop as well without any reset on my part. I bought them because I saw a lot of people on here getting them. Was this to be expected? Or did I get the wrong style of Defenders?

The Defender LTX M/S is really not the same as what others have bought. It is classified as a "Highway All Season" tire, a classification that I universally avoid. I have the Defender with no name modifier, which is discontinued. It was replaced by the Defender T+H which is a "Standard Touring All Season" tire. If I was choosing a Michelin tire today for the RAV4 EV, I would get the Premier LTX, a "Crossover/SUV Touring All Season" tire.
