I need to replace the 120V cable for my Volt. Can I use my RAV4 EV 120V charging cable in the mean time?

Try it, it should work (TM)

J1772 is just an "intelligent" extension cord with a different plug.
You can't "break" anything as long as you plug it in a regular 120 Volt outlet.

Tesla powered cars, including the 2012-2014 Toyota RAV4 EV, will NOT charge using the original 2011-2012 Nissan LEAF (Panasonic) portable charge cable.

My Volt actually charges more reliably on unreliable outlets with our Rav4 120V than with the original Voltec 120 even set at 8amps.
