Our Rav4EV has been sitting at Toyota of Palo Alto for 6 months with no progress getting it fixed. It would not charge but we were able to drive it to the dealership. They promptly replaced the charger but it stopped charging again a few days later so we drove it to the dealership again. That was 6 months ago. It is a 2012 with 27,000 miles. Is Alan Green the guy to call to get help? Any other advice to get Toyota to fix it? It is still covered under the Toyota extended warranty. To the dealer's credit they've provided us with a loaner.

Thanks for the suggestion on who to call at Toyota. That worked. We got the car back, repaired and working fine within two weeks of calling.

The problems with the car must have been tough to debug. According to the paperwork Toyota replaced the drive unit, the propulsion battery, the DC-DC converter, and the charger. The car was on the 8 year warranty so we paid nothing, but the cost on the paperwork was just over $30,000. Car works fine now.

Overall no complaints. The car was at the Toyota of Palo Alto for 6 months but they provided us with a good loaner for the entire period, were pleasant to deal with, and eventually fixed the car.
