Just got a call from toyota that they are replacing my drive unit, car is not driveable so hopefully it will not take as long.

So went with Toby last week and got an email today that Toyota canceled the plan I got and won't allow online sales anymore so now I got to find a plan b. I will be calling some local dealerships here in Utah.

Wow 80,000! Is that being replaced under an extended warranty?

I tried to bring it up to the tech about the noise when they did the recall update and he said it was in spec. Look to be out of luck for now. Ill get the extended warranty and hope to get it replaced in the next few years .

It was 29,999, i called about it a few months back and they wouldn't budge on the price.

So about an hour after i ran the test i pulled out of the garage it went to 142, is that because it went off a new kwh rating?

So I ran the test last night and came out to 136 miles. Now my garage stayed about 80 degrees most the night, how much of a effect would that play?

Im out of California as well, what service was the tech originally coming to preform before this issue came up?

Its in the shop for the back shocks and they are checking the camera as well, will see what they say.

Lately my back up camera hasn't engaged when in reverse, sometimes it shows a black screen or just stays on the regular display and sometime it works fine. Has anyone else had this issue?

Welcome to the group! I have had mine for a little over a week and loving it! It is a little scary having one out of California for warranty issues but seems like Toyota will take care of me here in Utah. Enjoy the car!

How are you liking them? Are they pretty much plug and play?
