Palo Alto dealer called on Monday to tell me the DU was in; just 2 days shy of 6 months from when I first took it in. There are also a few people on FB that have gotten their units this week; maybe Tesla finally got a whole batch made/rebuilt. Maybe they even "fixed" the problem this time???

I don't know all the answers to your questions, but I do know that the car does have side airbags (it's important to get covers that are compatible for the airbags to work).

Magnussan Toyota in Palo Alto gave a quote of $475 to flush both G48 coolent for the battery and motor. Approx. 2 hours labor and 4 gallons of G48 @ $40 per gallon. Anyone done this yet?
