Absolutely love the Pearl White look. How come you are selling both? Are you moving on to another EV project?
Do you know if Toyota lets you do a clean lease transfer, or does your name stay on the paperwork (which is a problem with Nissan leases)? I'm wondering if I do decide to give up the...
I'm wondering why this one is located in MD (someone went out of their way to get one in MD, but then sold it?). I wish my 2013 LEAF had a better resale value, or I would trade it in right away for this vehicle. So close, yet so far away...
Very happy to see you got your the RAV4 EV! Looks awesome! Are you getting custom plates (a trend my wife actually mentioned during the syracuse show yesterday)?
I'd still trade my LEAF in for this vehicle, in a heartbeat, if I could make it work financially. Coincidentally, I JUST got an...
You have no idea how much Toyota is pissing me off with all these shenanigans, to the point I will probably never buy a Toyota again. I really wanted one, but gave up after finding out how they are working so hard on not supporting out-of-state buyers.
It's a compliance car, so we'll just have...
Actually, my 2007 RAV4 has this as well (so I'm guessing it started with that gen, which was 2006). Took me a while to figure out what was going on, as I kept activating it by accident when parking the car sometimes. You can activate it by pressing the brake pedal all the way, in a quick...
I'd post on the Volt forums, although I doubt someone that inconsiderate is a real EV enthusiast and might not be a member there. I'd definitely post on PlugShare about this as well.
Keep in mind that purchasing isn't the problem, it's finding a dealer willing to work on it, and willing to deal with Toyota's BS of not allowing dealers to service the car. If it was easy, there would be one in my garage ;)
I guess they must be getting desperate:

Hopefully, next step is to open up sales to all states (yea right) ;)
wow, just wow. Really painful to hear that Toyota seems to be on a warpath with out-of-state buyers. It obviously isn't looking good for anyone ever wanting to buy this car, but am really getting concerned for out-of-state buyers who already purchased the car.
Would this be a different...
I definitely would love to know what exactly is required to be RAV4 EV certified/trained, and what hardware/software interfaces are needed. I talked to my local Toyota dealer again today, and am trying to convince them to consider doing this, so any info you can share would be appreciated!
There are several threads on the PriusChat Plug-in forums, as this really is a problem. Most of us just ended up getting the TPMS safe slime, while also getting a tire plug kit, and a compressor.
