Hi guys,
I remember there was a google doc somewhere that had all the VINs and checked off component failures. Is that still available anywhere? I'm thinking of getting another Rav4EV, but I wanted to see what has been possibly worked on. Drive units, heater, gateway, etc...
If you option out the B-Class like the Rav4EV it will almost be the same MSRP. Only issue is you get less cargo room and a smaller battery for a cushier ride more efficient ride. Also, they are offering only $7500 off on a lease with exorbitant lease rates.
I purchased the wear and tear allowance option. It might not matter since I am most likely going to buy the car outright at the end of the lease. For $400 the wear and tear allowance option allowed for up to $5 k of wear and tear. That included bald tires, spills, scratches, dents, etc. If I...
San Diego rates are ridiculous in comparison to US average. For super off peak from 12 am to 5 am it is 0.16/kWh, off peak is 0.20/kWh and 0.44/kWh during peak hours. These are the summer time rates.
Due to these rates I typically spend around a hundred dollars a month to charge the RAV4ev. It...
Wonder how fast the RAV4EV would be if Toyota never asked Tesla to de-tune them. Think we could have gotten into the 4's? I know they have some prototypes out there that never were detuned. Wonder what speeds they are getting. Let's pray for some firmware upgrade to the drivetrain that will...
Saw a white one this morning heading south on the 5 in Encinitas. Had a colorful license plate holder. I'm around Convoy a lot for lunch, but mine is white TeslaInside.
Wife prefers the focus electric with all the extra standard bells and whistles. Maintenance and repair on the coda would be DIY, but I would be comfortable with that. I also have a Rav4ev, but adding in those lifepo4 batteries into the Rav4ev would resolve a lot of range concerns of ours since...
Awww....poop. Thanks for the heads up Jeff. Hmm what would you guys rather do then. Get the coda for roughly 11 k after all rebates or a new focus electric for about 19 k after rebates?
Yeah.... I know the Coda has issues since it is bland looking inside and out. Can't complain about that price since that is almost the cost of the batteries.
I offered 17 k for a 2012 coda sedan to the local dealership. The internet manager was going to get back to me after speaking with the owner. I figure I can get the full federal 7500 tax rebate and the california 2500 tax credit so the car would cost me roughly 9 k after taxes, title, etc. No...
