Are you aware that the Rav4 EV does have something similar. Hill-start Assist Control is documented on page 43 of your manual. You have to manually engage it by pressing on the brake pedal and it lasts only two seconds. I'm not sure if you are aware that exists and you find it insufficient...
To mute, you can press and hold the Mode button (round white button adjacent to Volume) on the steering wheel and it's a bit faster than using volume. Not ideal, but better than using volume buttons.

Like I said before, I had two Rav4 EVs for a while and I made Entune work just fine with both. I use the Android app. Not sure if that makes any difference, but it did work for me.
The manufacturer is bound by the arbitrators decision. You are not. You can accept it. You can just ignore it. Or you can then go to court and seek a different resolution.
I had two Rav4s for a while. When you are at the main screen, you press Menu->Options and on that screen there is a "Vehicle" section which should show your current vehicle. Touch that and you can select between the vehicles. You have to hit "Menu" at the main (first) Entune screen. It...
Uh, what are those rates? PG&E does not PAY 18c/kWh. They may charge that for generation, and they may show that amount on a monthly NEM statement. But they don't pay that out for end of the year, true-up payouts.
I have a bigger solar system. 6.3KW produces 44kWh/day in summer. I generate 1.2MWh / month in summer. For me the EV-A rate is a clear winner. I also live in Marin where we created a CCA to take over power purchasing from PG&E. What that means is that I am paid a rather handsome (compared...
That's great. That site shows a total replica, but it gets ya thinking... It would be fun to consider putting an electric drive in the Porsche. I'm thinking how cool it would be to work in a Rav4 Tesla engine and make the Porsche faster and more reliable. But alas, I'd miss the pleasure of...
My Rav4 EV is my first EV. I plan to always have an EV after this, though you never know what technology will bring. I've wanted one for a while, but the ranges never worked for me. But with a 140 mile range, this car is great.
I also have a '60 Porsche 356 Cab which I restored...
Me too. I mounted my phone down there, and while I can reach around it to hit Park, I just turn the car off.
(See mounting photos in 3rd post of this thread.)
The thing to keep in mind is that once you have kinetic energy, it is better to keep it rather than to convert it to electricity and convert electricity back back to kinetic. If there is a stop at the bottom of the hill or you desire to slow down, then more regen is good. If you will need to...
My car did a weird thing last night. I plugged in around 8:30pm and it almost immediately started charging. Entune sent me an email saying charging started and then another saying it completed 1/2 hr later. Then again this morning the car charged again for 1/2 hr. I didn't touch it in...
