I just bought mine used here in PA. (I grew up in Woodland Park, CO) It also has the motor noise at low speeds and after reading this forum often, it appears it's the beginning of the end. I'll live with it as long as I can and then process the warranty claim before that's too late.

Just picked up my EV today. 2013 SN 1844. Oh what a risky adventure this might be...On a side note I was able to get a Toyota warranty even though I'm over 3 yrs and 36,000. Tony is right, persistence is the key!

I'm resurrecting this topic once more. I am hoping to add the 3rd row after canabilzing an ICE from the junkyard. I don't have my RAV4 EV yet, on its way from CA, but was hoping someone actually looked further into this. Thanks!

1844. Mine was at Kearny Mesa. You probably snagged the other one I was looking to buy at Costsa Mesa.

Did you end up going to take a look at that RAV4? I'm wondering because it might be the one I just bought transferred out here to PA. Was seeing if they still let you look at it and what you thought?
