Parts delay?

Wow. Toyota service crimped a coolant line while servicing our car. "Hopefully we'll get a replacement in a week" - not the most reassuring time frame.

Today (a week later) they called and said "Tesla has indicated they should have a replacement part for us by May 22nd."

Seriously? for one foot metal tube? From a factory 40 miles away?

Has anyone experienced anything like this?
 
Don't know about parts with the rav yet, however I would ask that they take one off of there loaner or a stock unit if they are the ones that damaged it, they can sit on the dead car and not you. Have you called customer service? Let them know that you need this part and you not happy waiting a month.

At least you were given an approximate date.

Mine sat at Toyota carlsbad waiting for a replacement on board charger and was never given any timeframe until the part arrived at the dealer.....43 days later.
