So recently I had my RAV4EV in the shop for a month waiting for a part for the heater. They gave me a 2014 4RUNNER as a loaner. I didn't personally like the 4RUNNER, it's too big for my taste(I think they are basing it on the Tundra now instead of on the Tacoma, but that's just a guess)...

Well I got my car back from the dealer. It seems to be working properly. The heater...well, it heats now, and it took just as long as they said it would to get the part in. So I am happy that at least the information the dealer gave me was accurate. I will report in if anything else happens.

I realize this thread is old, but I've just had the same experience. Heater dead. Dealer says it will be at least three weeks before the part is in. They gave me a rental. It's all warranty stuff, but 3-4 with a rental kinda sucks.
