I had this clicking problem for years, and it had gotten progressively worst. I finally brought it in couple weeks ago. They fixed it. In their words - "Cleaned and added grease to the axle/spline"

2012 model, 89k miles, temp 50-60F overnight - 139/146 = 95% I'm happy w this number, but i'm not sure i believe it :D Meanwhile, with 80 miles commute each day with this car, it doesn't miss a beat. Awesome EV experience!

Just got a DU replacement due to motor whine at 88k miles covered by extended warranty. This is my second replacement. The first was at 40k miles about two years ago.

Propulsion unit (I guess that's the motor?) came in on Tuesday; got it replaced today. No more clunking sound. And it seems to be more quiet than the old unit. It's not as whiny :D

Zero problem, zero error messages. 27k mi in 16 months. I don't use timer. Still on original firmware. I think I have slight gear/motor noise, but not sure. I'm not going to worry about for now since I'm Planning to buy extended warranty 6yr/125kmi.

Parked my Rav4 EV for 17 days(without anything special). Today it started right up. Car parked on street in San Jose, CA. Not sure what the weather was like in the past days, but i'm guessing 60s at night, 80s F in the day.

Blastphemy, If I may ask how many miles do you have on your RAV? And is the noise level the same now compare to the day you got it? I really don't know if it's harmless or a potential problem, but for sure it's much louder than one other rav i drove. I'm going to drive it for a while and see...

The Nissan LEAF(I also own a LEAF) user's manual states that one way to prolong battery life is to avoid charging while the battery is hot(ie. immediately after driving) I could not find this recommendation in the RAV4 manual. Does this mean I can ignore this recommendation for the RAV4? And...
