I found a way to remove the proximity sound to make the rav stealth. There is a speaker on the bottom right of the 12v battery with a grey plug. Simply unplug and it's done.

When i go to the bay area i have to stop for three hours in patterson and well if i had two chargers i could utilize an empty chargepoint j1774 plug and double my charging speed. I know it's not affordable but can it be done?

Yes I had same issue, and just got a 12v cig usb adaptor to keep my iPhone charged without having it plugged into the USB port.
