$955 for 'gas' for two cars is very good. I'm on SDGE TOU2, but am considering going back to tiered rates. I don't think it will get down to $0.117 per kWh, but its worth calculating.

Here's my 12 month Net Metering bill from SDGE. Bottom line is my electric costs were $586 for the year, which includes 'gas' for my B-Class. What's yours?

Are logs the only issue? If so, then I don't care. I have the low end charger. I could extend the turn off time though. When I get a smart timer, I'll use the other outlet.

Awesome guys. That should be fun. Question though, how are you getting there and do they have enough outlets to share? Fast laps take a lot of energy. If it's run like the gas ones, there should be 5 sessions per day. Each session consumed a quarter tank in my Mazdaspeed3.

That's just silly. I'll bet that she doesn't drive more than 80 miles per day. 91 is almost $4 a gallon again.

I don't understand what you're saying. If you understand the concept of buy low and sell high, then you would produce at peak ( no choice), and consume at super off peak. During summer, it's a 3:1 ratio.

Is your goal to make money from generation credits? My goal is to get as close to zero net as possible. That means I spend less for the system.

Or should I just ignore that confusing little bit and look further down the bill?

Update. According to this picture, it looks like SDGE is just adding up the actual production and usage and giving it a dollar value. Why? If they're going to use these three values, times their cost values, then it would be entirely different. If this is how they do it, then I've sized my...
