Parting ways with my 2014 Silver Rav4ev...thanks for all the info / help over the years... (Got a Honda Clarity FCV recently...) The Rav has about 42k miles on it, and has the Toyota warranty until 2021 and 75k miles. Has had 2 motor replacement so far, and with extended charge shows about 110...

wonder if anyone seen these issues: phone is iphone 7+ and iphone 6 with latest ios. First issue, phone call comes in, was able to answer via the steering wheel button, however, after call ends, audio turns off. Second issue, BT on, connected to car, calls come in, the car unit doesn't respond...

I was told by EVSEUpgrade that the 2011-12 Nissan Leaf charger will not work with the Rav4 EV. (even the upgraded one). I have them both, and never tried to see what would've happen : ) thanks.

Got the car back, everything seems to be working. I have the warranty until 2021, wonder how many more motor replacement will be done before toyota (or tesla) says enough is enough?

After 1 week, rep got back to me says I need another motor replacement. (had one done last month) At least this one will arrive within the week, last one took over 3 months... Fingers crossed.

Just got my drive unit replaced at Palo Alto Toyota. Now the wife says she misses the noise : ) from 3/21 to 7/5, about 3.5 months wait.

Just had my first Check EV system error message, which disappeared after I drove about 20 miles. I hope it's the 12 volt battery just being bad /weak...Got a replacement at Costco, we'll see how it goes. thanks.

Called around some locksmith...got all sorts of different answers... First one: yes, we can! oh wait, says dealership programming only...sorry Second one: yes, we can! come on down...$90...(when asked if they charge if they can't get it to work, the answer was a big YES). Third one: oh no...

Totally my bad for not checking...but 1.5 months into the ownership, I realized one of the key fob isn't working. Change the battery and still nothing, took it into the dealership...and they told me the bad key was coded to another vehicle...and there is no way they can re-program it... Do we...

The dealer said this movement is normal? I currently have a Leaf, and a Prius Plugin, and neither of them have this behavior...Nor did any other car I've owned before has this seat movement... Did a search on Rav4world.com and found some similar posts...with no solutions...

I am waiting for one too, but it's only been about 10 days or so...guess I won't be getting it any time soon... I plan on driving it tomorrow into the Palo Alto Tesla store to put down a deposit for the "3"...wonder if i should find some "Tesla Inside" sticker to put it all over my car : )

I was so happy when the service advisor quoted the time frame to be "within a week" for the motor replacement...now one and half week later, the ETA has changed to "I'll give you a call when the parts come in"...sigh...

Bolts seems to be tight on the floor...I was finally able to reproduce the issue at will by shifting my weight left and right with the car sitting still....the seat move slightly and makes a clicking noise...I'll see if they can get it fixed next time it's in for service. thanks.

I've noticed my driver side seat moves somewhat during initial acceleration and braking...anyone else seen that? No matter where I put the seat position, I can not get rid of the little movement of the seat...even if I drive the Rav4 somewhat slow, the movement is still there...is that normal...

Hello all! So I just got a 2014 rav4ev, silver...about 20k miles on it... The dreaded engined whine happened already...Palo Alto Toyota said they opened a case and will get the motor replaced... Lucky or cursed?
