Charging in rain

Probably a dumb question, but...

I pulled up to a public charging station and noticed the plug was a bit wet. I'm sure its covered in the OM, but I figured I'd get a quicker answer here.

Is it ok to charge even if the charging plug is wet? Heck, is it ok to charge out in the rain?

It's OK to be wet and it's OK to be in the rain.

That is completely different than pouring a cup of water in the port and trying to plug into that.

Those plugs are GCFI protected.
