No wonder EVs generally cost way more than ICE cars! A HV battery pack is a monstrous mass of metal and intricate electrical/coolant intra connections. To completely assembly one of these must take several workers many hours, possibly even days. There must be easily close to 1000 individual parts, not counting the Li ion cells themselves. It is truly amazing how so many different parts all fit together so well, in such a relatively compact enclosure. The power electronics and mechanical design engineering that went into it is really incredible!
