I leased the Rav4 EV a couple months ago and recieved the federal tax credit and california tax credit totaling ~$17,500. Am I eligible for any further tax refund? I asked this since I'm doing my taxes on Turbo tax and in order to deduct the Rav4 I must purchase the deluxe version otherwise it would be free.

simple answer: You are not.

Only the (lean on the) title holder (in your case the leasing company) can take the tax credit.
The $17.5 incentive toyota lease gave you was basically the $7.5k tax credit and a $10k incentive.

Since you leased you have no additional federal tax credits beyond what Toyota gave you on the lease. The actual tax credit belongs to the owner which is Toyota.

I assume you had the dealer apply the direct CA $2,500 rebate against the lease also?

I believe there is a clean air district rebate if you live in the central valley somewhere but that is about it.

Or maybe you are in Corona?

Here is a list including some EVSE rebates.

I see thank you for the quick replys, now I can submit my taxes.

I did not have the dealer apply the $2,500 CVRP tax rebate directly to the down payment, but I did already receive a check in the mail for it. The car is registered in Los Angeles, doesn't seem like there are any additional incentives/rebates for the car.

Thanks

Congress did renew the expired EVSE installation credit at the last minute for 2014. I got something like $267 of my costs returned.
