Yes, I saw Tony's post on that. Mine is a 2012, the vin has the 'C', no confusion there. But I'm wondering about the 2013's. I saw an earlier post in this thread from a member who bought a 2013. If the 2013's are out there I'd like to use that info in negotiating a final price before setting my john hancock on the bill of sale.

Yes, 2013's are out there. The last time I did a www.cars.com search in San Diego, we had zero 2012's and two 2013's in the whole county of 3.5 million residents and many thousands of existing EV's (mostly LEAF).

Just picked up my 2012 Rav4 EV, Shoreline Blue, from San Francisco Toyota. 79 mile drive home..... awesome!!!! Love it!!!
By the way for those still searching for Rav4s, Hanlees Hilltop Toyota near the Bay Area has three 2013's coming in this week, one in each color, and they are offering 11,000 off sticker. That's their starting offer at least today.

Nope, makes sense, sounds like as good of a deal as the 2012's (minus the 0% financing). It makes me feel a little better since the sales process of my current RAV4 is going slower than I thought, and not sure if it will be completed before the deadline.

Finally closed the show with a friend of mine on a couple '12 EVs. After $9300 incentive, purchased in Norcal for $37,888 + TTL before $2500/$7500 state/fed incentives.

There are a few '12s in Norcal out there so still some decent deals to be had.

Actually, I think it's the letter before the W and trailing numerics that indicates the year. My 2012 has the same VIN portion you showed above.
