Just bought one...lucky or cursed?

Hello all!
So I just got a 2014 rav4ev, silver...about 20k miles on it...

The dreaded engined whine happened already...Palo Alto Toyota said they opened a case and will get the motor replaced...

Lucky or cursed?

I'm going for my second drive unit swap out all approved just waiting for it to come in...

The motor issue is a serious yawn... it never leaves you stranded, and always gets fixed for free.

I was so happy when the service advisor quoted the time frame to be "within a week" for the motor replacement...now one and half week later, the ETA has changed to "I'll give you a call when the parts come in"...sigh...

Um, yeah. There are people who have been waiting 3-4 months for drive unit replacement for the noise issue. If the car is not drivable you'll probably jump the queue, but otherwise expect to wait several months.
